Smith Creek Village is one of our three Communities of Care in the Kelowna area, providing Independent Living with Support Services, Assisted Living and Long-Term Care in Kelowna all under one roof. Smith Creek Village is located just moments down the road from Westbank Shopping Centre. The mall and surrounding area offers pharmacies, hotels, grocery stores, doctors’ offices and numerous restaurants. A West Kelowna bus stop is conveniently located just in front of Smith Creek Village.
Independent Living with Supportive Housing in the new Brown Community offers 11 bright and spacious one-bedroom suites, some with incredible Okanagan Lake views. Assisted Living communities include Elliott, Boucherie, and Brown and offer 62 bright and spacious studio and one-bedroom suites, also with beautiful lake views. The one-bedroom suites range in size from 509 to 640 square feet. The suites are unfurnished, allowing you to bring your own furnishings to make it feel like home. All suites come equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave.
Of the 138 Long-Term Care suites offered at Smith Creek Village, one is offered as a Private Pay Long Term Care suite. All other Long-Term Care suites are funded by the Interior Health Authority. The communities of Reece, Webber and Paynter offer suites for Residents with dementia in secure environments. The Dobbin and Gellatly communities offer care for individuals with mild cognitive impairments, as well as for those who are cognitively well but have higher physical care needs. These suites are furnished with a hospital bed, nightstand, bureau and armoire, but we encourage you to bring along personal touches to help make it feel like home.
All other Long-Term Care suites are funded by the Interior Health Authority.
