Financial Impact of Caregiving awareness information guide

Becoming a caregiver is not something we typically plan for in advance. And some of the responsibilities we take on have financial implications for ourselves, the care recipient and possibly our families. In addition, COVID-19 had a tremendous financial impact on caregivers.

The current system of financial supports available in British Columbia consists of federal and provincial programs and tax credits. How these apply to individual caregivers depends on the caregiver/care recipient situation. Navigating the ins and outs of financial support can be a challenge.
