Applications for BC Housing’s BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptions are now open

BC Housing is now accepting applications for the BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptions (BC RAHA). The BC RAHA program gives financial assistance to eligible low- and moderate-income households to adapt their living space for accessibility.

This program provides up to $17,500 in rebates towards adaptations that directly address an individual’s permanent disability or loss of ability. These adaptations will improve the ability of homeowners and renters to perform the basic activities of daily living in their homes. This could include adaptations such as exterior and interior ramps, door widening to accommodate a wheelchair, and bathroom modifications such as grab bars, shower seats and handheld showerheads.

For more information about our program, please see their website at www.bchousing.org/BC-RAHA.  BC RAHA is allocated on a first come, first served basis with priority given to complete applications. The program will close on March 31, 2023, or sooner if funds have been exhausted.
