Nikkei Seniors Health Care and Housing Society (Robert Nimi Nikkei Home)

HUGS was recommended to us by an aunt who had volunteered at Nikkei for many years. I contacted HUGS through an email in which I received a response within a day or two.
At that time we were not sure if my mother was suitable for Nikkei Home, I was given comfort knowing they would have someone come over and meet and interview my mom and myself to get an overall review of her well being.

The help and support our family has received from HUGS has been most appreciated. They were able to assist with moving costs when my mother was able to move into Nikkei Home. They have visited my mother in her suite and have provided information that would be helpful for mother's well being.

I cannot say enough about what an important organization HUGS is and the people that operate it. They genuinely care. I am most thankful for the support we have received from Laura W.

The programs cater to both physical and mental health, offering enjoyable and creative activities. Our mom particularly enjoys flower arranging classes, varied body movement exercise and stretching classes, Wii bowling game time, and group bingo sessions. These diverse programs contribute significantly to maintaining our mom's mental acuity and physical capabilities.

Additionally, Nikkei Home provides well-balanced meals with a wide range of options. It feels like every day is a delightful experience at the country club!
